From the line of Yogi Bear Elmore and Lulu Thanksgiving.
His good pals: Mitch and Edna.
Survived by: Bagel, the Beagle; Simon the One-eyed Cat; Miss Kitty, the generic she-alley cat.
You were good at rolling over, begging, sitting, hand shaking, keeping us warm, snuggling, licking, annoying but never good at playing dead.
Until now.

This brought tears to my eyes.
Mine too. A whole river.
I'm very sorry to hear about Sampson. The pictures are very cute. I know it hurts badly though. We put Mars down 2 weeks ago also. It's so hard to say goodbye to such a good old friend.
Thanks...if we just didn't get so attached....
Hey Edna, I'm sorry about Sampson. I remember you talking about him when we worked together at Just Cats. I was happy to see Simon's name there though. I'm glad I got to meet him, he's a great cat.
Take care and congrats Doc :)

Thanks Julie. I remember you too
Just Cats closed a couple years ago. Jaime has brucilosis (sp?) and can't practice anymore. I have enjoyed your updates while in med school and I have to say I'm proud of you.
Keep reading, more to come!
Hi Edna
Apparently I am so technologically lame I was not even able to post comments to your blog. This is what six years at home with a child does!
First of all, I'm so sorry for you and Mitch. It sucks to lose a pet/part of the family. Not that I have to tell you that. And McKinstrys seem to take it especially to heart. Crap!
On a happier note, congratulations on your position at Az! Although I'm sure Mitch was hoping you would be making about $420,000/year instead so he could be a kept man! Tell him hi and hopefully someday (like next winter) we'll be able to come visit.
Love
Ann
Don't worry, I did it for you! Thanks. The weiner will be missed
